Common Questions
Are you a "pay by the hour" company or an Upfront Pricing company?
We do not charge our customers by the hour. We provide upfront pricing which provides the customer with an out the door cost for the services and included materials listed in their detailed and accurate quote. Upfront Pricing provides a benefit to our customers that is not found in the outdated practices found in hourly time and material pricing, that benefit being an agreed upon price, prior to the start of work. We find this to be less stressful for our customers, allowing us to conduct the work in a trusting environment that benefits both parties involved. The only time the price should change in our Upfront pricing structure is if additional work is requested by our customer or if repairs are required to be quoted after agreed upon diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Do you travel outside of the Greenville, SC area?
Yes. We have different Dispatching and Travel Charges for traveling throughout the entire state of South Carolina and will provide that information upon request.
Do you provide free onsite quotes and consultations?
We believe in providing customers with an accurate, detailed quote and consultation and charging a set fee for those services. We credit all onsite quotes and consultations on work that is awarded to us.
Do you provide Offsite Estimates, Quotes and or Consultations?
Depending on the customers timeline, ability to submit information and willingness to communicate through emails and text messages, and perhaps a phone call or video call, we do offer Offsite Estimates, Quotes and Consultations.
Do you provide After Hours Service?
If you feel as though your After Hours Inquiry is a serious emergency, such as a potential or active electrical fire, please call 911. Do not call an electrician in this instance! If it is not a suspected electrical fire scenario see below:
We believe evenings,weekends and holidays with family, pets and friends are important for you, our customer, and for ourselves. Our email and company phones are always on.
We find that most after hours electrical requests can be discussed over the phone, where we can better assist you in determining the best outcome in an after hours situation. Often we can help mitigate an after hours service call fee by simply asking a few questions and providing some solutions till normal business hours. In our many years of serving customers as electricians, we have found this approach has created long lasting relationships built on trust and a respect of our customer’s time and finances.
Do you work for Sellers or Buyers in Real Estate Transactions?
We partner with home inspection companies, sellers and buyers agents to provide the best transaction experience possible for Sellers and Buyers.
Do you review inspection reports for home sales and is that service free?
We have a set fee for reviewing inspection reports and providing detailed quotes for the repairs requested by sellers or buyers. This fee is applied to all awarded work.
Do you conduct electrical inspections?
We offer a service called an “Electrical Safety Evaluation” which involves detailed evaluations of existing electrical systems. These evaluations can range from inspection of a single electrical panel all the way up to the entire electrical system of a residential building. Contact us to further discuss your specific evaluation.
