Community
As electricians we often find ourselves getting called to a home at emotionally distressing times. Electricity is dangerous and can quickly change the trajectory of a homeowners plans. Unfortunately, there are parallels in life to these kinds of electrical events, circumstances that exist within our neighborhoods and are not related to electric catastrophes.
Our team is dedicated to serve our community, to give back from our successes, and needed a direct conduit to our community, one with a mission to help those in need. By partnering with Community based projects such as Habitat for Humanity, we found that we were given the opportunity to lend our knowledge in developing and wiring safe, reliable homes for people in need.
Wiring New Construction, Custom Homes and Older Homes
One of the most frequently heard statements in a growing area such as Greenville, SC is “I need a trusted, reliable and honest electrician” or “I need an electrical company that can do it all”.
With the rapidly growing population people in the Upstate of South Carolina, the demand has never been greater. Whether you are homeowner, a remodel builder or a new construction builder, you likely have made these statements or heard your customers echo the words above.
Our expectation is to be a solution-based company for all your electrical needs. Whether you are builder needing to wire to wire up a series of new homes, a custom builder with site specific needs dictated by your client, or are a builder/contractor/homeowner with an existing older home that needs rewiring, our experience lends itself to all.
We provide cost effective and efficient solutions for new construction.
We will meet the specific requests for custom home wiring.
We know the in’s and the out’s of older homes, the do’s and the don’ts for rewiring everything from knob and tube systems, non-grounded electrical systems and even work on water or fire damaged homes requiring restoration.
Trouble-Shooting and Diagnostics
Often the option provided to us as homeowners and consumers is to buy new, start fresh, replace the older thing with a newer thing; this is not always an appealing option in terms of cost and scope of work.
Often, even the idea of having to fully replace something in the electrical system can immediately cause tension and anxiety, especially when there are as many unknowns and hidden factors, such as the challenges that come with an electrical system.
It is critical to have an electrician that understands how to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in lieu of a simple GET IN and GET OUT replacement mentality which drives profits for other companies.
The “on to the next job” approach often leaves electrical issues partially fixed, with remaining contributing issues still present.
We take time and make an effort to ensure you were informed on your electrical system, our concerns and your options. We partner with you to build a consensus on what can and should be done by current standards.
When we leave your home or business, our expectation is to delight you with our people, our quality of work, and leaving you to rest easy and have found value in partnering with us.
Transition Electric Co. invests in the right tools, training and continuing education to best understand all types and ages of electrical systems, products and common installation methods, and local building codes, that change regularly.
Through our process of asking detailed questions and the approaching the system with “symptoms” and “signals” in mind, we provide the customer with a repair option rather than a full replacement option, whenever it is safe and proper to do so.
